Center for the Urban River at Beczak Marsh and Garden Clean Up
The Center for the Urban River at Beczak (CURB) is a regional hub for research and monitoring focused on Hudson River estuary and urban watershed issues. Pentegra employees worked on cleaning up the marsh, removing winter debris, drift wood, invasive vines, assist with repair of the erosion wall and marsh fencing and prepared the marsh for coming summer months.

In addition, employees also participated in creating children's craft bags for My Sisters Place. My Sister's Place provides safe haven for women and children who are victims of domestic violence and abuse. Children checking in to My Sister's Place often leave behind all of their toys, and enter with nothing more than the clothes they are wearing. The craft bags give them a familiar activity that they can use to acclimate and perhaps ease the transition.
